On February 12^th (Friday) it is red and white day to celebrate Valentine’s Day….

Escapade Eskimo

On February 17th we will be all going to the RA and Escapade Eskimo will be there to offer a dog sleighing ride to the children. Attached you will find a legality form that will need to be signed in order for the children to participate, do not be alarmed by the form, there has never been any incident with the company Escapade Eskimo, it is simply a formality.

Le 17 février nous allons tous faire une activité au RA avec Escapade Eskimo en traîneau à chien. En annexe vous retrouverez un formulaire de légalité qui devra être signé par les parents pour que vos enfants puissent participer à l’activité, ne soyer pas alarmé par le formulaire, il n’a jamais eu d’incident, c’est seulement une formalité.

Formation parent / Workshop for parents

À inscrire à vos agendas !! La formation que nous vous avions chaudement recommandé lors de la rencontre annuelle en août, aura lieu mardi le 16 février de 18h30 à 20h30 au CPE. Cette formation démontre l’importance de bien préparer nos enfants à l’entrée à l’école. Mais attention !! Il faut le faire de la bonne façon !! Mon enfant doit-il savoir attacher ses souliers, savoir écrire son nom, connaître l’alphabet ? À quoi l’école s’attend de mon enfant lors de son entrée? Dans cette formation, vous trouverez des réponses à vos questions et même plus… Cette formation s’adresse à tous les parents de la garderie, peut importe l’âge de votre enfant, car ont commence tôt à préparer les enfants de diverses façon qui seront vous surprendre…. Nous vous demanderons la semaine précédente la confirmation de vos présences.

To note in your agendas!!! The workshop that we discussed at the annual meeting with the parents in August will be held February 16^th, 2010 from 6:30 to 8:30 at the ECC. The workshop will explain to you the importance of well preparing your children for school. But be careful!!! It must be done the right way!!! Does my child need to know how to tie his shoes, does he need to know how to write his name, know his alphabet? What does the school expect from my child? This workshop will answer all of your questions and more…. This workshop is for all the parents in the daycare, no matter the age of your child, because it will surprise you, how early and the many ways we prepare our child for school….We will ask you to confirm your presence the week prior to the workshop.

Costume day/ Journée Costume

On February 25^th it is costume day; therefore your child can bring in their favourite costume to daycare to dress up in.

Le 25 février est la journée costume, donc, votre enfant pourra apporter leur costume préféré à la garderie pour se déguiser.

Inscription pour l’école / Registration for school

Attached you will find the registration information for both the l’Envolée school in Campbell’s bay (CSHBO) and the McDowell school (Western Québec). Also, you will find a short survey concerning pre-kindergarten, please fill out and return to Mona on or before January 29^th, 2010. Thank you.

En annexe, vous trouverez une feuille d’information concernant les inscriptions pour l’école, soit pour la maternelle ou pré maternelle pour l’école l’Envolée à Campbell’s Bay (CSHBO) et l’école McDowell à Shawville (Western Québec). De plus, il y a un court sondage concernant la pré maternelle, SVP le compléter et le retourner à Mona le ou avant le 29 Janvier 2010. Merci.
