Hello everyone!  With the arrival of spring playing yo-yo, here are some information points and upcoming activities…

Information:

Staff changes:

Justine Tanguay has been hired as an aide, Justine will work Wednesdays until April 22^nd, at which time she will work 5 days a week from 8am to 1:15am.  Maria Rochon has been hired as on-call/replacement.  Welcome to our team!

Summer menu:

Attached, you’ll find the summer menu starting Monday, April 29^th.  Please note that our summer/winter menus can be found on our website.

Solar eclipse:

For your information, during the solar eclipse on Monday April 8^th, children will stay indoors in the afternoon.  For more information, see the following link:

Activities in the annual calendar:

April theme: Happy Birthday Daycare!

• The Shawville facility turns 20 years old on April 13^th, therefore, we invite you to join us on Friday, April 12^th at 3:00 p.m. for a magic show by Clowning around (Eric O’Brien), and wine and cheese afterwards. Parents, brothers and sisters are invited.

Earth Day:

• On Monday, April 22^nd, there will be activities focusing on respect for our natural environment.

Shining a light on our daycare in the community!

• At the young animator evening at the Luskville Community Centre on February 23rd, the planet and rainbow groups from our Luskville facility put on a show, and a photo was published in the Équity newspaper.  Following this huge success, we’re pleased to share the photo and accompanying article with you!

• Following approval of our grant application entitled “Au menu: de la nature à notre assiette” (On the menu: from nature to our plate), and with a view to raising children’s awareness of where food comes from, we were approached to give an interview about our experience in recent years on the subject.  See the following link to listen.  The interview done with Diane Daigle assistant director in Luskville, will also be available on our website. • We’re very proud of the actions we’ve taken to provide children with great experiences and a wide range of learning opportunities, while giving them the tools to become autonomous, responsible, fulfilled adults with a social and environmental conscience.

Thank you for your involvement and collaboration as parents, our actions would not have the same impact.  Thank you for trusting us, for following and encouraging us in our (sometimes eccentric!😉 ) initiatives.  Your participation is invaluable!

Bonjour à tous!  Avec l’arrivé du printemps, qui joue au yo-yo, voici des points d’information et activités à venir…

Information:

Changement de personnel :  Justine Tanguay à été embauché comme aide, Justine travaille les mercredis jusqu’au 22 avril, à ce moment elle sera 5 jours semaine 8h à 1h15.  Maria Rochon on été embauché comme personne sur appel / remplaçante.  Bienvenue dans notre équipe!

Menu été : En attachement, vous trouverez le menu d’été qui débutera lundi le 29 avril.  Prendre note, que nos menus (été/hiver) se retrouvent sur notre site web.

Éclipse solaire:

Pour votre information, lors de l’éclipse solaire lundi le 8 avril, les enfants resteront à l’intérieur en après-midi.  Pour information supplémentaire sur le sujet, voir lien suivant:

Activités prévu au calendrier annuel:

Thème du mois d’avril : Joyeuse anniversaire à la garderie!

• L’installation de Shawville aura 20 ans le 13 avril, donc, nous vous invitons à vous joindre à nous le vendredi 12 avril à 15h00 pour un spectacle de magie de Les clowneries (Eric O’Brien), ainsi qu’un vin et fromage par la suite. Parents, frères et sœurs sont invités.

Journée de la terre: lundi 22 avril, Il y aura des activités orientées sur le respect de notre environnement naturel.

Rayonnement de notre CPE dans la communauté!!!

• À la soirée des jeunes animateurs au Centre communautaire à Luskville le 23 février, les groupes de planète et arc-en-ciel de notre installation de Luskville ont fait un spectacle et une photo a été diffusée dans le journal Équity.  Suite à cet immense succès, il nous fait plaisir de partager avec vous la photo et l’article qui l’accompagne!

• Suite à l’approbation de notre demande de subvention que nous avons nommé:     «Au menu: de la nature à notre assiette» et afin de faire connaître la provenance des aliments aux enfants, nous avons été approché afin de donner une entrevue sur notre expérience des dernières années sur le sujet.  Voir lien suivant pour écouter, l’interview de Diane Daigle, directrice adjointe à Luskville, il sera également disponible sur notre site.

Nous sommes très fier des actions posées afin de faire vivre de belles expériences aux enfants et de leur apporter des apprentissages divers tout en leur donnant les outils pour devenir un adulte autonome, responsable, épanoui, et ayant une conscience sociale et environnementale.

Grâce à votre implication et collaboration en tant que parents, nos actions n’auraient pas les mêmes impacts.  Merci de nous faire confiance, de nous suivre et encourager dans nos initiatives (parfois farfelues!😉).  Votre participation est inestimable!
