Bambinos universe ecc – april 2026

Bambinos Universe – Early Childhood Centre

This winter has gifted us heaps of fluffy snow, the kind that sends children racing outside with rosy cheeks and big ideas—snowmen, snow angels, snowy kingdoms. Their laughter has been the soundtrack of the season. With spring’s arrival, daylight is stretching just a bit further each day, we know new adventures are on the horizon. As we shift from one kind of magic to the next, we’re happy to bring you an update from the Board of Directors.

Anniversary

Congratulations to our Shawville Bambinos. April 13 marks their 22nd anniversary.

A big bravo for this remarkable achievement!

Waiting List

For the past few months, the transition from LaPlace0-5 to the Ministry’s registration portal has been underway. The new system requires many adjustments and appears more difficult to meet the logistical and efficiency needs of ECCs. Particular attention will be paid to this issue, which will fully unfold when the groups for September are created.

Action Plan Following the 2025-2026 Parent Survey

At the Shawville facility: 23 out of 29 families responded to the survey.
At the Luskville facility: 27 out of 29 families responded to the survey.

A huge thank you for your participation!

1. Three-Year Renovation and Maintenance Plan

The ECC will create a three-year renovation and maintenance plan, which will be presented to parents during the parent meeting and the AGM in August.

2. Child’s Agenda

Results from previous surveys:

  • Shawville 2023-2024 survey: 100% of parents stated that the agenda was effective
  • Luskville 2023-2024 survey: 92% of parents found the agenda effective.
  • 2024-2025 survey: Shawville 87% of parents, and Luskville 100% of parents indicated the agenda was effective.

Suggestion: Take a photo with a mobile phone to read the agenda at a time that suits you.

3. Shawville Facility

Parking
The parking lot has enough space for the number of employees and parents at the ECC. However, during the winter months, parking space may be reduced. Additionally, at times of arrival or departure, some people do not park in an orderly manner.

To improve the situation, everyone must take responsibility for parking properly during these times.

4. Internal Organization and Educational Approach

For both facilities, regarding internal organization, educational approach, or other matters, each team has taken note of your comments. Depending on the subject, a follow-up will be provided either during the annual meeting, in Flash-info updates, or verbally, depending on the context.

Employees Appreciation

Reading the parent survey is certainly a moment of pleasure for us, for

management and particularly for employees… your words are touching!

We, as a Board of Directors must emphasize our gratitude to the employees!
